I recently stayed at the Hilton and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory.Location:The hotel's location is far from ideal for those looking to explore local shopping and dining options. It is situated quite a distance away from any major shops or restaurants, which made it inconvenient to access basic amenities and enjoy the local cuisine.Check-In and Reception:The front desk service left much to be desired. The staff did not provide any advice or recommendations regarding nearby shopping or dining options, which added to the frustration of the hotel's remote location.Parking:The car parking situation was also inconvenient. The parking area is located far from the rooms, making it a hassle to transport luggage and belongings, especially after a long day of travel.Room:The room itself was spacious but had several issues. It was not bright enough, creating a somewhat gloomy atmosphere. The bathroom was small and the exhaust fan barely functioned, leading to poor ventilation. The carpet in the room was old and dusty, and to make matters worse, I encountered co*ckroaches running around the room, which was a significant hygiene concern.Dining and Amenities:The dining options and amenities at the hotel were just okay. Property was too spread out and made every destination a 15-20 minute walk, which was faster than the tram. Food locations had very limited hours of operation.

It's a huge property. There is a tram that can take you around the property, but don't be in a hurry. We had a great ocean front room in the towers, but it was 0.6 of a mile from our room to the front lobby. We enjoyed the walk around the beautiful grounds, but if your mobility is limited it could be a problem.

This was our 5th time staying here and we can’t wait to come back. It’s so beautiful! Rooms are very comfy and the housekeeping is on point. Few things to note… the ocean tower renovations are very nice but the construction can be a bit noisy during the day. Temporary issue and worth the upgrades. The cantina that was in the ocean tower was closed. I don’t think they ever reopened after Covid but we used to really enjoy it. Also think the ocean tower side of the resort needs a hot tub. If you plan to use the hot tubs regularly in the evening, I recommend the makai rooms. The walk back to the ocean tower side of the is very easy in the eyes so not a huge deal.

The place beautiful, but getting to the Ocean Towers was kind of a pain. It is a long walk or you need to take the tram. Parking is expensive and self parking is OK if you don't have a luggage. The room was comfortable and the view was excellent.

We loved having a view of the ocean. The room was not yet renovated, but had everything we needed and was very clean.

This place is a dream. It is way bigger and even more beautiful than expected. Staff was great and the food was great too. The view from our ocean view balcony was great. We saw whales every single morning during our stay.

Incredibly overpriced. Parking $55 on top of $340 for one night in a dated room, and we still had to take the monorail to our room from the valet parking desk. Felt really ripped off staying here but didn't really have a choice for one night only in the area.

Food was good. Took one hour to get checked in. Tram was broken and no one was told so we sat waiting for about 20 minutes. Also parking is on the whole other side of the property. Would go somewhere else in the future.

Beautiful resort which starts to show its age when you look closer. Be ready to walk a lot if you are not patient enough for their free (inside the resort) transportation options. We love to watch the humpback whales. Expect overpriced restaurants inside the resort. Sadly not much of good public transportation options outside of the resort.

Place is wonderful not crowded and very peaceful. Good to get away. Shopping area is like a mile walk, quite tiring lol. I’m not sure if Hotel offer shuttle service to and from. Overall I had a great stay.

The beds were a bit hard but I was really disappointed that the maids did’t fill the lotion container or leave me more tea after I drank the first 2. Also they took the towels and floor mat and didn’t leave a new floor mat for the shower . Thank you

Loved the setting overlooking the horseshoe bay & ocean - beautiful views! Lush landscaping with many pools to choose from plus the large lagoon with dolphin area and many family activities. Kamuela Provisions restaurant on the ocean was very good. Impressive art collection scattered throughout the many venues. Only negatives were the distance between buildings (must take the tram or hike it) and parking lot so far from the Ocean Tower (another tram/walk back & forth).
