Embrace the power of gratitude! Remembering to say "thank you" after any encounter where you've been given the gift of someone's time leaves a lasting impression. Whether in person or via email, expressing a well crafted expression of gratitude after an interview is imperative. It sets you apart from others, and often the "tie breaker" when selecting 2 equally qualified candidates. #GratitudeMatters #ThankYouNote #InterviewEtiquette #StandOutCandidates #CareerAdvice #ProfessionalPoliteness #JobSearchTips #CareerSuccess #DifferentiateYourself #BuildingConnections #steelerecruiting #chiefofstaff #executiveasssistant

I would love to here Talent Acquisition Teams and Recruiters thoughts on this. Good candidates are being overlooked due to the heavy reliability of the ATS. These social platforms, job boards, and networking sites are becoming meanless. The same jobs are being repeatedly posted regardless of career level. Are you telling me you do not have one (1) qualified applicant out of the two hundred (200) that the Linkedin metric showed applied?#recruiters #headhunters #talentacquisitionmanager #talentacquisitionspecialist #hrmanagers #hrcommunity #hrleaders #peopleleaders

What have you done worth a thank you today?Let's celebrate, but let's do it slightly different today!I know we spend quite a while (and we should) talking about giving positive feedback, and being more appriciative towards one another. But one thing we are not talking to much about is what is worth saying thank you for. Because not everything is worth a thank you!A thank you should mean something - sure you have your basic cheers and thanks whenever someone apologies for bumping into you in the street, or someone holds the elevator those extra 3 seconds that allow you to jump in - but there is also the real thank you. The thank you that people say when they truely lack other words to express the gratitude they feel towards what you did today. Sometimes it's simple small things, sometimes they are grand and time consuming. But instead of keep talking about remembering to give 'Thank you' to everyone for everything - today I want you to do a different thing.Think aboutWhat have you done today thats worth a thank you?
